From
the plain of the Tavoliere, rich in agricultural products, that
colour the land, to the green of the Mountains of Daunia, rich in
history and culture, through Foggia, main city of the province,
loved by Frederick II, reaching the “Holy Mountain” Gargano, where
sea, mountains and wood mix, giving a breathtaking landscape, that
is unequalled all over the world. Daunia offers everything and not
only in summer. In light and shade the Daunia is one of the most
important tourist centre of Apulia and from year to year counts
the largest number of tourists and tourist accommodations. The Local
Tourist Office (APT) of the province of Foggia proposes to improve
the land more and more. In collaboration with tour operators and
under valiant commitment it is worth to increase the number of visitors
in the favourite tourist destinations, connected to the religious
and bathing tourism. It is necessary to share the tourist offer
all year round by improving lands of unknown potentiality. The publications
of this miniguide gives me the opportunity to invite countrymen,
Italian and foreign visitors to one of the most beautiful land in
Europe all year round. J wish to thank all those, who collaborated
